Hi, this is my first journal on DA. actually i'm not a good writer. but i'm trying to write something that i think is nice and maybe i can share something here that can be functional to the reader.

For my first of journal, i want to write something that related to my skill, it's MAYA 2010 that i'm using now. I really enjoy with this new version of Maya. Specially the renderer, Mental Ray 3.7.53.5. For this new version of Mental Ray there's a new changed too. specially on the imaging of rendering. when we start the rendering for the first appear is blue screen then after that changed to blur with spot dot (Final Gather), then the final image with a clean result. but for the newest version it changed, it need more steps to go. When the older version only need 2 times of changing and each time imaging take longer, but the newest one change to 4 times then we will have the final image result. this kind of version is better i though, cause we render is not only for final result, we need of test for the trial and error as the beginning to find the right and perfect of lighting.
the first impression appear is a same, blue screen then change to rough spot dot, then change again to the smoother and go on till the last one is the final image result.

The direction is changed too. The older version is began from bottom to above. but on this newest version is changed. it begins from left to the right side. every change is faster then the old one. this change is really help us when we want the renderer as the first time test render. we do not need of wasting time to wait the blue screen disappear from the screen again. with this renewal will help us and easily to know the result. if the first impression is not suitable to our expectation we can immediately cancel it.

At the moment i just know that as the different from Mental Ray renderer, cause i just have it many of days, so i didn't know what the biggest changed of mental ray so far. I think there's not lot of changes from this newest version beside the above things.
